The Monterey Bilingual Teacher Training Program (BTTP) works with districts in training teachers for certification to work with culturally and linguistically diverse student populations. This course is designed to assist participants to prepare for the CTEL (California Teachers of English Learners) examination. Study topics are based on the Commission on Teacher Credentialing test specifications for the exam. Major areas of emphasis include assessment and instruction.
