This workshop is designed to help IEP teams make the determination of whether a student has an Intellectual Disability and address the following questions: 1) With variability in subtest scores on cognitive, adaptive behavior and achievement testing, how can the IEP team be confident Intellectual Disabilities is the appropriate special education qualifying criteria? and 2) What are the “best practices” for the identification of Intellectual Disability?
